FAQ

  • How do I care for my stained glass piece?

Just use windex and paper towel or rag on the glass only. Wipe along and away from the edges of the metal work. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER.

I make the pieces to be structurally sound, but they are still very fragile. When handling your piece, hold it where it is strongest. Grip your hands on the outer framed edge, in the middle of the top and bottom or sides. Do not grip the jump rings.

If the metal work was not treated with patina (left silver), it is more likely to oxidize faster over time. To give it a fresh shine, just use high grit steel wool (between 000 and 0) and buff it off until it’s as shiny as you want it. Higher grit steel wool may scratch the glass. This is the steel wool I use.

  • How do I care for my pressed flower piece?

Just use windex and paper towel or rag on the glass only. Wipe along and away from the edges of the metal work. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER.

Hang your pressed flower piece in a dry place. A drastic change in moisture levels can cause mold growth in your piece, so it’s always best to take the extra precaution to ensure this doesn’t happen. For example, do not hang your pressed flower piece in the bathroom (shower steam). I would never use molded flora in the assemblage of your piece, so if this occurs after it’s out of my hands, I will not take responsibility for this.

  • Will the pressed flowers fade over time?

All the flowers and leaves I use are pressed naturally with no preservatives. I store them in a dry, dark place to ensure their preservation pre-installation. The flowers and leaves will inevitably fade over time when exposed to light - quicker in direct light. I personally think the transformation is beautiful

  • Do you offer custom work?

Yes! Pricing depends on cost of materials and labor hours. Please fill out this commission form or DM me on Instagram @numaglass.

  • What materials are used in your pieces?

Every piece is made with hand-cut glass. I use (60/40) solder, and most are bordered with zinc (lead-free) came. Please wash your hands after handling your piece, just to be extra safe.

  • How long will it take for my piece to ship?

I put a lot of love into each piece. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the shipment of commission pieces. Anything chosen from the Shop will ship within a week of purchasing.

  • Do you offer returns or refunds?

Sorry, no returns. Please make sure you’re set on your selection before ordering.

Please contact me immediately if your piece arrives broken.

  • Do you do repairs?

Unfortunately, no. Until I can hire an employee(s) to help me with production, I cannot put time and money into repairs. I commit to making pieces that are structurally sound and to use the right protective packaging to keep them safe from shipping mishaps. I will gladly fix chain or jump ring issues for free.

  • Do you ship internationally?

Not at the moment - it’s expensive and risky.
